Public Speaking:  There’s no shortage of
accounting news these days.  If you need a
speaker for an event, it can be provided, often pro
bono.  Ethics, taxation, and current events are
good topics.  Several appearances are made every
year.

Public Service:  This firm provided support for the
OSCPA's NewsOK.com “Ask-a-Pro” project.   We
advised the U.S. Dept. of Education on high school
education and the Oklahoma Dept. of Finance on a
new state tax base; provided public and peer-to-peer
advice through the profession's referral service.  

We wrote the certification application for the
Hollywood Film Institute course for accountants
sponsored by Oklahoma Travel & Tourism; Mr. Imel
currently contributes to "The Literate Voter" carried
by the Oklahoma County Republican Party,
okcountygop.com.

Mr. Imel serves on the OSCPA media pool and is a
frequent contributor to radio, TV and print media.  See
